Time is often a factor when deliberating whether to start a project. Most people have other priorities or do not have the time to get organized and declutter.
To make a difference all you need is to find 5 minutes a day for organizing and bettering your life. The results will allow you more time to do the things that you like to do. Decrease your stress and a give you a sense of pride.
There are many ways to carve 5 minutes here and there.
Find the time… If you are watching TV, try organizing during the commercials.
Take a five minute break from your social media perusal.
It’s a choice to answer the phone, let them leave a message and take a few minutes for yourself.
There are all kinds of mini projects to tackle with big results. Here are some ideas.
Sort and open the mail. Toss out the envelopes.
Hang up the coats lying around and tidy the shoes at the entrance.
Make your bed.
Wash and wipe down the kitchen counter.
Throw out expired or rotted food from the fridge.
Dust the table while watching tv.
Write a things to do list
Delete your messages in your junk mail.
Match socks while watching tv.
Write out a grocery list
Clean out your wallet.
Throw in a load of laundry.
Empty all trash bins.
Collect pens and try them out, toss the dry ones.
Toss out expired meds from bathroom.
Whatever you can get done will be an improvement.
